Tesla opening new Service Center in Surrey, BC 

Tesla is once again expanding their presence in the lower mainland of British Columbia. The company will soon be opening a brand new Service Center in Surrey, the fifth location for Tesla in and around Vancouver, and the second for the City of Surrey

2. Tesla Langford has recently opened the first custom-built Service Center in Canada, providing up to 50 full-time jobs

4. This expansion aligns with Tesla’s plans, as they aim to launch a new service center every week, as revealed in leaked information

According to city records, the building in question has a total area of over 63,000 square feet. However, recent developments indicate that Tesla will only be occupying approximately half of this space, as evidenced by signage erected on the property last week.

Tesla’s website has not been updated with this new location, and based on the amount of work that is still required to finish the interior of the building, it will likely still be another few months before Tesla Surrey opens.

When it does, it will be the second Service Center in Surrey, with the other being on the other side of the city on the Surrey/Langley border at 19505 Langley Bypass. The fact that Surrey will soon have two Service Centers is not that surprising considering the number of Tesla owners in the area. The city is also the unofficial Supercharger capital of Canada with five Supercharger stations, boasting a total of 68 stalls.
